1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of freeroadmaps at freeroadmaps.com, including the roadmap editor, viewer, share links and embeds (the “Service”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
freeroadmaps is a free tool for creating, viewing and sharing visual roadmaps. No account is required. Roadmaps are stored in your browser’s local storage and, when you share them, inside the share link itself. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
3. Your content
You own the roadmaps and other content you create (“Your Content”). Because Your Content is stored on your device and in links you choose to share, you are responsible for it, including keeping backups. We do not store copies and cannot restore content that is lost, for example when browser data is cleared.
You confirm that you have the rights to any text, links and other material you add, and that Your Content does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit.
- Link to malware, phishing pages or other content designed to deceive or harm people.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person.
- Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Present the Service, or roadmaps made with it, as officially endorsed by a third party when they are not.
5. Templates and our content
The site design, code, logo and built-in templates are owned by freeroadmaps. You may use the templates freely as a starting point for your own roadmaps, including commercially. You may not copy the Service itself or use our name and logo in a way that suggests endorsement.
6. Third-party links
Roadmaps may contain links to third-party websites and resources. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.
7. Trademarks
roadmap.sh, GitHub, Jira, Teach to One and other names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. freeroadmaps is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that Your Content will be preserved.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, freeroadmaps and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. As the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero, or the minimum amount allowed by applicable law.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these Terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
